Creating Better Birth Experiences
First and foremost, birth is one of the most amazing and miraculous events in a woman’s life. As the East Bay Dolphin Doula Team we know how to honor what birth is, a sacred process that transforms lives. We will educate, provide physical and emotional support, and reassure and empower birthing women and families to exercise their right to make choices, to use their voice, and their intuition during their own unique birth journey.
As doulas, we believe in the power of birth support with passion for creating better birth experiences through empowerment and confidence.
As Dolphin Doulas we work as a team so that the women and families we serve get the best possible care. Hence, our clients benefit from a team of doulas trained in the same methods. Clients have multiple opportunities to meet all members of our team during our Meet the Doula Night or on your initial free consultation and/or during subsequent pre-birth sessions. The entire doula team will provide you with doula care and each member of our team is knowledgeable about each client’s specific needs, wishes, and concerns. One doula is on-call at all times while another doula provides secondary support. This allows our team to guarantee responsiveness and consistency in care in labor and the birth of your baby.
In addition to providing consistent high-quality birthing support, our team structure allows for the capabilities of postpartum care to our clients.
