This workshop is open to all expectant mothers and their support partners regardless of prior yoga experience. Bring your partner, husband, or friend!

Partner teams are instructed in a variety of yogic postures and massage techniques that help prepare the mind and body for the enormous demands of labor, and childbirth. Yogic postures and massage techniques are designed to help ease common labor-related discomforts, address specific labor conditions (i.e. back labor), stimulate relaxation, and encourage partner participation in the birthing process.

$60 if purchased at least one week in advance; $75 thereafter.

The Couples relaxation nights are taught by Childbirth Hypnotherapists and experienced Doulas.  The class is an hour and a half where couple’s learn about how relaxation and hypnosis can help in the areas of prenatal, pregnancy, postnatal and pre-planning a pregnancy.  We discuss how relaxation can be beneficial in dealing with fears surrounding childbirth and labor, concerns about health issues or challenges that have to do with becoming pregnant or with being pregnant.  We give you a taste of relaxation methods and help to discover and tailor the techniques for your individual needs.
